John Laurie

John was CEO of Newport Technology Group Limited from 1990 to 2000, and became Chairman of NDSL Group Limited when it was spun-out of Newport Technology in 2001. He is now also Chairman of several international technology companies as well as being a Director of the Oxford Ventures Group. From 1987 to 1990 he was a Director of the Oxford Seedcorn Fund, which raised two funds, and from 2000 to 2005 he was Chairman of Oxford Innovation Ltd. Previously, John was the Group Financial Controller of Oxford Instruments Group PLC when they went public, then went on to become CEO of their US holding company, and later ran their medical division. Prior to that, John was Managing Director of Potter Instruments Ltd. and Potter Data Systems Ltd. He is a Certified Accountant in the UK and has over 40 years experience in technology companies.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Earl Philmon

Earl joined NDSL in March of 2011 and served as Chief Operating Officer for 18 months before becoming CEO at the end of 2012. Earl has more than 25 years of management experience in the telecommunications and high-tech industries where he directed product strategy for VoIP solutions, mobile applications, broadband communication products, and other advanced mission critical applications.

Earl is responsible for driving the business strategy, leading innovation of the Cellwatch product line, creation of new products, and managing the overall business operation including sales, marketing and engineering. Prior to NDSL, Earl held positions with Movius Interactive Corporation, Nortel and Pliant Systems.

FINANCE DIRECTOR & COMPANY SECRETARY

Rob Willcock

Rob joined Newport Technology Group Limited, the former parent company of NDSL Group Limited, in 1995 as Group Accountant and was appointed Finance Director and Company Secretary of NDSL Limited in 1998. In 2000, he oversaw the spin-out of what is now the NDSL Group of companies from Newport Technology Group Limited. As the primary UK-based company officer, Rob manages the group's European business unit in addition to his role as Group Finance Director. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working for KPMG in 1993.
