The North American subsidiary was formed in 1999 and the Chinese subsidiary in 2010. Newport Technology Group Limited was split up in 2000, and NDSL Group Limited (NDSL) became a separate independent entity. NDSL is run by a board of directors headed by Chairman, John K. Laurie and CEO, Earl Philmon. Today, NDSL's primary business is the supply of mission critical grade equipment that will accurately identify potential UPS battery failure to Fortune 100 companies, government agencies and other organizations around the world. With offices in Raleigh, North Carolina; Milton Keynes, United Kingdom; and Shanghai, China, NDSL is a major global supplier providing unparalleled products and support services through OEMs, system integrators and resellers. NDSL is expanding its geographic reach by developing complementary markets that meet its core mission of preventing outages from battery failure.
